GTJ Hails, Bar. Wale Ojo-Lanre’s Appointment, Applauds Gov. Oyebanji

The Guild of Tourism Journalists in Nigeria has felicitated Barrister Wale Ojo-Lanre on his appointment as the Director-General of Ekiti State Tourism Development Bureau by Governor Abiodun Oyebanji.

Ojo-Lanre whose appointment was announced last week served as Special Assistant to the immediate past Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi on Tourism Development.

The widely travelled and experienced tourism journalist is also one of the residents of the association under whose the GTJ partners with several states, FG and private establishments to promote tourism in their respective domains.

In a press statement, signed by the organising secretary of the Association, Mr Oladoye Oluremi, GTJ said the appointment of Amb Wale Ojo-Lanre will enhance tourism development and attract more opportunities to the state.

“We thank His Excellency Gov Biodun Oyebanjo for considering Ojo-Lanre worthy of the appointment and we are confident that he will not betray the confidence reposed in him.

The association while restating its commitment to the development and promotion of domestic tourism in Nigeria promised to partner with Ekiti and other states in boosting traffic into their state through strategic promotion of their heritage sites and other attractions.
