THE Young Elite Forum (YEF), Oyo state chapter has urged the Joint Action Congress (JAC) and management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso to support the forensic audit of the institution,

just as they cautioned third force against thwarting the efforts of the government and other stakeholders in resolving the lingering imbroglio rocking the citadel of learning.

The group, in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Comrade Olalere Gbenga on Thursday described the forensic auditing initiated by the owner states as a positive step towards ending the crisis.

Comrade Olalere also enjoined the labour unions comprising the Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (SSANU), National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT) and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities and Association Institutions (NASU) and the management to cooperate with the auditing firm by making available necessary materials needed for successful operation.

While expressing displeasure over the incessant crisis, the group said, “we are not comfortable with the current situation concerning LAUTECH and as concerned citizens, we believe that all hands must be on deck to proffer a lasting solution”.

“The future of our peers in the institution matters to all of us and we can not fold our arms watching some group of individuals subjecting their future into jeopardy just for personal gain, politics or special interest”, the group noted.
