A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Bashorun Akinwale Solomon Akinwole, better known as Wolekanle, has welcomed Governor Seyi Makinde back to office

The governor had embarked on annual leave from August 5 to September.

In a statement, Wolekanle expressed optimism that the governor has returned rejuvenated and energized to continue his good work for the state.

He remarked, “There is no doubt that the much-needed rest Mr. Governor took will enable him to strategize further and return with a robust plan to continue transforming Oyo State.”

Wolekanle also commended the Deputy Governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal, aides and other members of the cabinets for effectively holding the fort while the governor was away.

He however called for more cooperation with the governor in making Oyo state a better place for economic prosperity and peaceful dwelling place for all and sundry
