The committee members include   Prof Ayodeji Omole (Chairman), Oloye jumoke akinjide Chief Bolaji Ayorinde (SAN), Prof Oyelowo Oyewo,  and Prof Daud Sangodoyin

The  governor of the two owner state,  Eng  Seyi Makinde and Gboyega Oyetola of Osun state  met on the issue in Abuja last month and they both agreed to look into the matter

Osun state government had  few days ago inaugurated its 5-man chaired by a renowned Professor of Vocational and Technical, Education, Professor Olu Aina. It has the deputy governor, Mr Benedict Alabi; Commissioner for Education, Mr Olayinka Folorunso, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Femi Akande and Commissioner for Finance, Mr Bola Oyebamiji as members.

Governor Makinde was at the institution in Ogbomoso  yesterday where he said sole ownership of the institution by the state would end the crisis rocking the insititution

According to Makinde the Committee’s mandate is to, in a manner of speaking, secure a divorce for Oyo State from joint ownership of the university with Osun State. I thanked them for accepting to serve and urged them to put their hearts into this work and submit a preliminary report in four weeks.
