The governor of the State of Osun, Mr Gboyega Oyetola on Thursday  tasked the newly appointed commissioners and special advisers  to see their appointment as a priviledge to serve and do so with commitment in line with his administration agenda.

He gave the urge  while swearing in his 35 cabinet members comprising of Commissioners and Advisers to serve in his first term in office

He also sworn in  the Deputy Chiefs of Staff on Administration, Barrister Adebisi Adejare.

Oyetola  said they should not see the positions assigned to them as an opportunity to enrich themselves, saying if they serve diligently, there is always reward for it.

The governor emphasized that there is no ranking in the cabinet, saying the Commissioner and Special Advisers appellation were mere for administrative convenience.

Speaking on behalf of the appointees, The commissioner for Informationand civic duties , Mrs. Egbemode promised that they would work hard to complement the Governor’s efforts in the quest for the development of the state

He also assigned portfolios to the appointed aides.

Femi Akande – Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice
