The University of Ibadan and five other Nigerian Universities twill benefit from French Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the development of the French language teaching in Nigeria,
According to Professor Idowu Olayinka Vice-Chancellor, University of ibadan,the French Embassy is wishing to assist the universities in developing French Language Centres.
The French Resource Centre will allow the students and teachers to get access to specific resources in matters of didactics for French as a foreign language.
The Director of the Centre for French Teaching and Documentation (CFTD) and Professor Idowu Olayinka Vice-Chancellor, University of ibadan, Ibadan will provide his expertise by choosing the appropriate pedagogical resources and equipment for this Centre.
Olayinka said further that , a pedagogical workshop will be organized before 15th December 2020 in order to enhance the use of this Centre.
“We are grateful to the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs for this major benefaction to the University of Ibadan.
We assure you that we shall make the best use of this facility to strengthen teaching, learning and research in the French language at the University of Ibadan.”
