The family of slain Honourable Temitope Olatoye Sugar, former lawmaker representing Lagelu/Akinyele in the House of Representatives, has picked the 2nd day of May 2019 for the burial arrangement of the Dead honourable.
Hon Olatoye Sugar, a member of the Federal House of Reps Representing Akinyele,/Largely Federal constituency was killed by unknown gunmen during the governorship and House of Assembly elections in the Lalupon area of Lagelu Local Government area of the state.
The burial date was announced by Dotun Olatoye on the sidelines of a press conference organised by the family on Sunday at Olatoye Sugar Foundation, Bodija Ibadan
Five people including the chief whip of Oyo state House of Assembly Hon Olafisoye Akinmoyede have been arrested in connection to the death.
The family urged the government and the security agents to ensure that the perpetrators of the heinous crime were brought to book.
The family also debunked rumour perpetrated on some section of social media on Olatoye’s former landlord describing it as fake news.
