Chief Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki, mother of the former Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki is Dead

Mrs Saraki died on Tuesday 18th June at 88

The late Florence was the widow of Olusola Saraki, who was a Senator in the Second Nigerian Republic and political godfather in Kwara until his death in 2012.

Dr.Saraki who also served as the Kwara state governor announced her mother’s passage on his Xpage

“With profound sadness and total submission to the will of Almighty God, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and matriarch, Chief Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki, who peacefully transitioned today, Tuesday, June 18th, 2024.

“Details regarding funeral arrangements will be shared in due course. We appreciate your love, prayers, and support as we mourn Mama’s passing.”
