Former commissioner for finance in Ondo state Mr Wale Akinterinwa on Thursday honoured the invitation the office of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC.
Akinterinea who served in the administration of late governor Akeredolu was invited by the anti graft agency to shed more light on some transactions during their regime in the state.
The All Progressives Congress gubernatorial aspirants has however returned home after spending few hours at the EFCC office
This contradicted the rumours that he has been detained by the EFCC few days after the primary election.
He posted on his X page “I just left the EFCC office following their invitation. I commend the operatives for being very professional and civil. I assured them of my utmost cooperation whenever I am needed to assist in their investigations”
