It was a moment of celebration and commendation as GASTAB Petroleum Limited opened its newest filling station in Dugbe, Ibadan.
The grand launch attracted dignitaries, community leaders, and union representatives, all united in praise of Alhaji Saheed Omogbolahan Adigun, the visionary behind the fast-growing fuel marketing brand.
Leading the commendations was Baale of Ekotedo, Elder Dr. Taye Ayorinde, who hailed the initiative as a significant step toward economic empowerment and job creation.
He described Alhaji Adigun as a “Northern Star” for his unwavering commitment to community development and urged GASTAB to operate the Dugbe station on a 24-hour basis to serve the ever-busy metropolis.
Among the notable guests present were Hon. Shina Alabi, Niyi Akinboade Ologbojo, Chief Shina Abdulrasheed, The Agbaakin of Ekotedo. Others in attendance included Chief Mrs. Victoria Adeniran, Alhaji Wasiu Modakeke, Alhaji Ibiyemi Yaro, and Islamic preacher Abdul Hammed Baba Kolo, who offered blessings for continued growth and service.
A special prayer was also offered Otunba Salmon Akanni Oladiti (SAO) NUPENG National Trustee , former PTD National President reflecting the union’s presence and endorsement of the event.
Comrade Ayo Odebunmi, Comrade Adejoke Oyeleke, National Welfare Officer of NUPENG, and Comrade Gbenga Olawuyi, Zonal Vice Chairman PTD Lagos Zone, among others were also in attendance,
As GASTAB continues to expand its footprint in the downstream oil sector, the Dugbe station is expected to contribute to employment, enhance service delivery, and improve fuel accessibility in Ibadan and its environs
