Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, Chairman Senate Committee on ICT and Cybercrime has felicitated with Christian faithful on the celebration of Birth of Jesus Christ.
Buhari in a congratulatory message to Nigerians said the worthy celebration of the birth of the Saviour should always remind us of the need to be humble and committees to the development of our Nation.
“Prayers has been sustaining us a nation but beyond prayers we should let the teachings of christ about love of our neigbhours, passion and commitment to the growth of our country and respect for others reflects in our day to day activities.”
“The psalmists in Psalm 122.6 said ” Seek for the peace of Jerusalem and whoever does so will prosper, we should always pray and work for the peace and prosperity of Nigeria and the world at large.”
While appealing to Nigerians to continue to pray for the leadership of the country, the Federal lawmaker said Nigerians should pray for peaceful conduct of 2019 election and be conscious of the need to prevent violence during the election.
Buhari who is seeking for another term at the Red chamber however restates his commitment to the development of his constituency, Oyo state and Nigeria at large.
