EKITI United to Unveil New  Technical Crew This Week

Following the interview conducted for all those who applied to join the technical crew of Ekiti United FC, the management is set to unveil the technical crew in this week.

Secretary of the team, Ayodeji Olowolafe said in accordance with the best global practices, the official unveiling will be held at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado as in the presence of members of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) from various broadcast and print media houses.

According to a statement signed by Qozeem Oladapo EUFC Media officer Olowolafe  informed that over 80 individuals applied for some of the positions that the team hoped to fill while the 10 shortlisted persons were invited for interview on Thursday at the club secretariat.

Olowolafe added that identities of the three most outstanding coaches as well as other positions based on the interview conducted transparently shall be made public before the week runs out .

He thanked all the fans of Ekiti United FC for their support and prayers before, during and after last NNL football season which saw the team finish in an impressive fashion and qualified for NNL Super 8 for the first time in history.

Ekiti United Secretary assured that the new crop of individuals that will make up the coaching crew for the new season would perform creditably well adding that efforts were on to ensure things are done professionally before and during the 2022 NNL season in a bid to put the team in good stead for another impressive performance .

Olowolafe noted that only 20 players out of 38 on the payroll of the team last season have been retained while 18 have been allowed to ply their soccer trade with other clubs including Afeez Yusuf who moved to Shooting Stars and Ahmed Abdul joined Sunshine Stars of Akure while some other players have also been invited by some Premier League teams ahead of NPFL 2022

He informed that the impressive performace of Ekiti United FC last season had opened doors of opportunities for most players to join various NPFL teams adding that the new technical crew will swift into action to do the needful in term of players recruitment ahead of the new season as soon as they are officially unveiled to the world.
