The Economic Financial Crimes Commission EFCC said it has recovered N32.7 billion and $445,000 in the ongoing investigation at the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation
The anti graft agencies added that Investigations have uncovered fraudulent dealings related to Covid-19 funds, World Bank loans, and Abacha loot.
Betta Edu, the minister in charge, her predecessor Sadiya Umar-Farouk have been invited for questioning by the EFCC, though they have been released but the agency said no officials from have been cleared in ongoing investigations into financial misappropriation
