EFCC Declares Four Wanted Over Alleged CBEX Scam

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared four individuals wanted in connection with a fraudulent online trading scheme allegedly perpetrated through a platform known as Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX).

The suspects—Seyi Oloyede, Emmanuel Uko, Adefowora Oluwanisola, and Adefowora Abiodun Olaonipekun—are being sought for their alleged roles in the scam, which has defrauded unsuspecting investors.

According to a notice issued by the EFCC and signed by its Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, the wanted individuals are believed to have operated from multiple locations, with their last known addresses listed as follows:

Emmanuel Uko: No. 166, Idimu Egbeda Road, Lagos State

Adefowora Oluwanisola (37 years old): 13, Jimoh Odutola, Ogunpa, Ibadan, Oyo State

Adefowora Abiodun Olaonipekun (44 years old): 13, Jimoh Odutola, Ogunpa, Ibadan, Oyo State

The commission is urging anyone with useful information about their whereabouts to contact any of its offices in Ibadan, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, or Abuja. Information can also be provided through the following numbers: 09-9044751-3, 08093232644, 08183322644, 07026350721-3, 0706350724-5, or via email at info@efccnigeria.org.

The EFCC emphasized the importance of public assistance in bringing the suspects to justice and urged citizens to report to the nearest police station or security agency if they have relevant information.
