DSO Officially Withdraws Resignation, Reaffirms Commitment to PDP

Hon. Damilare Sunday Olusanjo, popularly known as DSO (BSQUARE), has officially withdrawn his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reaffirming his loyalty and commitment to the party’s progress in Ogbomoso North and Oyo State at large.

DSO made the announcement during the PDP General Meeting of Ogbomoso North Local Government, where he appeared in company of his political structure — the BSQUARE TEAM. His resignation, which was initially submitted on July 8, 2025, was formally withdrawn during the gathering.

The party welcomed DSO back with open arms, with key leaders and stakeholders present at the meeting. Among them were the Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North LG, Hon. George Ogunlade; PDP Treasurer, Hon. Sunday Bankole; Ward Chairman, Alhaji Hamsat; as well as several elders and members of the party who expressed joy at his return.

Deliberations at the meeting touched on the events that led to his temporary exit and the interventions by prominent figures within the party that paved the way for reconciliation.

Special acknowledgements were made to:

  • His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for his exemplary leadership and stabilizing presence within the PDP,
  • Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, for his fatherly guidance,
  • Hon. Michael Ogunshina, PDP State Youth Leader, for his timely and consistent support,
  • Hon. Akinwale Akinwole (Wolekanle), Chairman, Local Government Service Commission, for his dedication to party unity,
  • Engr. Open Salawu, Chairman, Project Monitoring Agency, for his strategic and reconciliatory efforts,
  • As well as Hon. Femi Onireti, Hon. Raphael Afonja, Engr. Abu Salam, and Alhaji Rasaq Gbadegesin for their invaluable roles.

DSO also expressed deep appreciation to the leadership and executive members of the PDP at all levels for promoting unity, reconciliation, and the continuous growth of the party.

He particularly commended the BSQUARE TEAM for their unwavering loyalty and grassroots strength, describing them as “the true champions of people-centered leadership.”

Reiterating his commitment, Hon. Damilare Sunday Olusanjo stated that he remains fully dedicated to the growth, unity, and success of the PDP in Ogbomoso and Oyo State at large.
