Don’t use SENACO, LAMIST to divide APC in Oyo, says Morohunkola Thomas

Members of the All Progressives Congress APC,  in Oyo state have been urged not to encourage any form of distractions that will drain the party’s unity

Barrister Morohunkola Thomas , the Executive Assistant to the state Governor Senator Abiola Ajimobi  gave this urge while hosting members of the Oyo state forum of transition committee OFORTRACOM who served between 2011- 2015 in his office in  Ibadan

According to him, every party member should be loyal to the party and the leader of the party and not any splinter groups such as SENACO and Lamist

“   Ajimobi is the leader of the party today and every member of the party should not only accord him the respect of the leader but should also be loyal and support him in his strive to take the state to the next level  with the party”

“The governor is a true symbol of the party, his achievements speaks volume and its what are proud of because it is one of the factors that helped us to nail the opposition in the state and if we have successfully done that we should not allow anything that will cause division among us”

‘ Any crack in our wall will give the opposition the opportunity to penetrate and further divide us but we should not allow such to happen, loyalty should be to the party and not any group either SENACO or LAMIST as we have in the party today

While charging them not to relent in their support for the party, Thomas said  “ We are currently preparing for local government election, every party members should mobilize  so that the opposition will know our strength and readiness to defeat them again in 2019 general election

He commended them for appreciating Senator Ajimobi

Spokesperson for the group Olusola Afonja in his address said the group decided to pay homage to the governor on his birthday as a mark of honour and in appreciation of the privilege given to them to serve at their various local government between 2011- 2015
