“To Allah we belong, to Him we shall all return, Every soul shall taste death”

Like the sound of a church stationed bell, Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke made a significant impact in his 62 years of existence. From childhood, he exhibited attributes exclusively reserved for the princes; his exemplary philanthropic lifestyle is second to none.

He lived and died for the commoners and ordinary people of his environment. In politics, he was a titan: a seasoned politician, grassroots mobilizer, very relevant in and out of political office. In deed and in truth, he lived up to his name, “SERUBAWON” He was no mean man, a highly revered community leader and a selfless religious ambassador. He made leaders out of mean men. His exit was a close of a remarkable era.

In death, just like the peaceful, calm and easy going Adeleke lived, he should have been allowed to rest in his grave. NO, they will not. They saw him as a threat to their survival, they assaulted and molested him, they questioned his political dominance in Edeland, they made direct and indirect attempt to eliminate his life; the brouhaha of the political scuffle at the hotel in Osogbo and the assassination siege on his house, an eve to the gubernatorial election in Osun of 2014 is still fresh in our memory.

The PDP, as confused and disgruntled as ever are disrespecting the lives and times of the first civilian governor of Osun state in death. They were not friends while he was alive, why now?

The loss of Senator Adeleke is very painful, the vacuum that will be difficult to fill within his family circle. Knowing the truth at this moment of mourning is crucial and important as political rumour mongers have over-politicized the causative factor of his death, as such nothing should be hidden from the full glare of the world.

Family members should not waver in their principled stand and should not be economical with the truth. Many questions are begging for answers, when Dr. Deji Adeleke affirmed that his late brother was not sick, that he was physically active until his untimely death.

1) Who is Alfred Aderibigbe to the Late Senator Isiaka Adeleke? What was Aderibigbe’s mission to the Senator’s house on early morning of  his death?

2) Why did Aderibigbe inject Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke if truly he was not sick ?

3) And what necessitated the family to officially handover Alfred Aderibigbe to the police  if he wasn’t culpable?

4) Why has the family failed to tell the world that excess dosages of Intravenous Valium , Pentazocine, Hydrocortisone, Gentamycin and  two (2) Ampule of the banned Analgin in a 5% dextrose saline went into Late Isiaka Adeleke’s system on the day of his demise ?

5) Why is the family shying away from the preliminary report received from on the autopsy carried out on the Late Adeleke?

6) Why will somebody of a political and financial status of Adeleke settle for a health assistant in a community PHC for Intravenous(IV) ?

The answers to all these questions are necessary and should be timely in order to disabuse the minds of the people for political sycophants from scoring irrelevant and unnecessary points with the death of Senator Isiaka Adeleke.

A case at hand is the unconvincing and divisive article supposedly written in the name of Femi Fani-Kayode to malign the government of the state of Osun, which was eventually denied by Femi Fani-Kayode. This is the best and most appropriate time to speak out, so that outdated medical practitioner of Okupe status will not mislead the general public.

Or which seasoned and practicing medical doctor will say that 40mg of valium with over dosage application of pentazocine, Hydrocortisone, Analgin and Gentamycin to a patient at once will not result to lack of oxygen and ultimately  death ?

Conclusively, Distinguished Senator Isiaka Adeleke has done much for humanity, he was a leader extraordinary, a man of many valuable parts, he will forever remain in the hearts of his benefactors, followers and Osun citizens for his landmark achievements as the first executive governor of Osun state.

Let us once again extend our condolences to the family of Adeleke over his demise. While we wait for the comprehensive report of the post mortem, we appeal to family members, friends and political associates to disseminate the truthful information.
