Popular Nollywood actor Richard Oguntimehin, widely known as Don Richard, has debunked rumours of his death, confirming that he is alive.
The actor addressed the speculation in an emotional message, reassuring fans and expressing gratitude to those who stood by him during a difficult period.
“I will never forget the people who came with a lamp when I was in the dark—not to fix me, but to sit with me until I could see again,” he said.
Recall that Don Richard had last year opened up about his health challenges, revealing that a sudden spinal injury led to further medical complications, including an enlarged bladder and kidney-related issues.
Despite the ordeal, he remains optimistic and rooted in faith, stating: “I am alive, nothing do the son of God. God is at work.”
The clarification has brought relief to fans and colleagues across the Nollywood industry, many of whom had earlier been alarmed by the false reports of his death.
