What could have led to multiple deaths and injuries was averted today in Idi –Ito Area ,Poly road Ibadan as a truck tumbled after losing its break
The incident occurred around 4pm when students and workers were returning home from their schools
An eye witness told our reporter that the car was about approaching Idi –Ito bus stop when after a lone accident which was due to break loss
The three motor boy at the back of the vehicle jumped away while the driver sustained injury
Meanwhile residents and traders around the location have appealed to Oyo state government to erect iron barricade at that junction to prevent trucks from plying the route.
The route is an alternative route to Sango Sawmill.
Omoniyi Williams a shop owner around the place said “This is not the first time such things will happen, we are used to seeing vehicle tumbling destroying shops and injuring people
Last month , a fashion designer shops was destroy and two people injured when similar incident happened, the only solution is to prevent them from passing this route” He concluded
