The Management of Crown FC has heaped encomiums on the State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde over the gift of Bus to the Team.
According to the Team’s General Manager, “we are over the moon for this kind gesture extended to the club , to be given such a bus at a time like this is exceedingly exhilarating.’
Oyeleye in a statement said “Your Excellency, you have proven once again that you are a Prophet of Boom, who knows where the shoe pinches . We recall that we received such a bus last in 2010. This certainly adds to your legacy of unusual transformation in the Pacesetter State.
“Your Excellency, we affirm the Coaster bus donated to us is a tonic that will automatically spur Crown FC to a greater pedestal as the new season is heralding. We are condemned to re-enact the Shooting Stars’ feat next season by God’s grace so that Oyo State will have two clubs in the elite division. This kind gesture is a reflection of Your Excellency’s resolve to promote sports in the state especially now that you have given us your word as a Man who’s largely driven by integrity,
“that this government would continue to do everything it can to support the team, the rehabilitation of the Soun Stadium, Ogbomoso and the presentation of a bus to the team are parts of the moves to also encourage the team.
“Crown, don’t think we are not looking in your direction. We are giving these Coaster Buses to ease your movement. I am here also promising you that if you also gain promotion, you will get the same thing. Who says we cannot have two NPFL teams here? We can and we will support that.
“We have asked them to renovate the Ogbomoso Township stadium and I know they are doing that. I look forward to coming in to watch some of your matches.”
