Communication Minister Defers Chiefatincy Coronation Because of Buhari, Says Its not Time for Merry Making


Minister of Communication Barrister Adebayo Shittu may not attend available to recieve the chieftaincy title conferred on him by Oba Saliu Adetunji , Aje Ogunguniso 1, the  Olubadan of  Ibadanland at the weekend

The title of Agbaakin Afiwajoye was  given to him by Oba Adetunji who is celebrating his one year on the throne as Olubadan.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, former governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, former governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Bukar Ibrahim were among 10 eminent Nigerians who will be honoured with chieftaincy titles by the Olubadan on march 5

But a close source to the minister told our reporter that the Minister said he is not ready to celebrate any title now because it is not time for party.

His decision was said to have been informed by the health status of his principal president Muhammadu Buhari who has been away for medical checkup and treatment in London

He told his associate and friends that a reschedule date will be communicated but that will be after the returns of president Buhari to Nigeria.

It would be recall that Barrister Shittu is apolitical associate and loyalists of the ailing president
