As part of the activities to mark this year’s Christmas celebrations and new year, the Senatorial candidate of PDP for Oyo South Senatorial District, Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe has distributed food items and cash support to party faithfuls, religious, community and political leaders as well as the less privileged across the nine local governments in Oyo South Senatorial District.
According to a statement personally signed by the candidate, Tegbe wished everyone a fantastic celebration and charged them to share with the needy around them.
“As we celebrate Christmas and the thrills that come with it, let us remember those in need, who can can barely afford a daily meal let alone celebrate Christmas in the way they’d have wished to.”
“Jesus, who is the reason for the season gave all in his life, and even gave his life. For this reason, I urge everyone who has enough to ensure that they give to those that can’t afford, knowing fully well that the Almighty God will reward every good deed.”
“It is my joy to help as many people enjoy the season. I also enjoin everyone to also ensure that they help at least one person, we should just ensure we make someone feel the love of the season”
Tegbe also used the opportunity to seek for the support of the people in his ambition to become the Senator of Oyo South Senatorial District of Oyo State so that he can fulfill his aims of pushing for bills that will make the welfare of the people a priority and will lead to a better standard of living for people of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
He then implored the people to ensure that they vote People’s Democratic Party candidates across all levels, so as to enjoy a continuity of the accelerated development ongoing in Oyo state and to be able to spread it across the country.
