The Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGrAM) has declared its full support for the Minister of Interior, Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, amid renewed attempts by certain elements to cast doubts on his integrity and service records.
Speaking with journalists in Abuja on Sunday, the Deputy National Chairman (South) of CAGrAM, Hon. Dr. Agbi Stephen Omobamidele, described the controversy surrounding the Minister as “a needless distraction sponsored by political opportunists who feel threatened by his exceptional performance.”
Dr. Agbi noted that the Minister’s record of public service remains unblemished, adding that his leadership at the Ministry of Interior has set a new benchmark for excellence and innovation in governance.
“Dr. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo has redefined public service delivery in Nigeria. His reforms, digital transformation drive, and commitment to transparency have earned him both national and international respect. These baseless attacks are nothing but deliberate distractions from his good work,” he stated.
He further explained that as one of the most outstanding Ministers under the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration, Dr. Tunji-Ojo has demonstrated capacity, loyalty, and competence — qualities that make him indispensable to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
> “CAGrAM stands firmly behind Dr. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo. We urge him to remain focused and not allow detractors to derail his vision for a more efficient and secure interior system. Nigerians are watching, and they know who is working,” Dr. Agbi added.
The movement also called on Nigerians to disregard politically motivated stories designed to tarnish the Minister’s image, emphasizing that the country needs focused and result-driven leaders like Dr. Tunji-Ojo to consolidate the gains of the current administration.
>“At CAGrAM, we believe in defending competence and celebrating performance. Dr. Tunji-Ojo represents both,” Dr. Agbi concluded.
The Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGrAM) reaffirmed its continued loyalty to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging to sustain its grassroots mobilization efforts in support of the administration’s developmental vision.
