In a condolence statement, Chief Adekunle recalled the close relationship between the late Colonel Adeniran and his uncle, the late Brigadier General Benjamin Maja Adekunle, noting that their bond was built on mutual respect and solidarity during the stormy and defining periods of their military careers.

According to him, both men were among the proud sons of Ogbomosoland whose gallantry and selfless service brought honour to their homeland during a critical chapter in Nigeria’s history.
