The member, representing Ogo-Oluwa /Surulere Federal constituency, Hon Segun Odebunmi has applauded the peaceful and organized conduct of the All Progressive Congress yesterday in Oyo state despite the different layers and interest groups within the party. He described it has brilliant, exemplary and unprecedented.
Bunvic made the remarks while addressing newsmen yesterday during the excercise at Oko, Ward 8 of Surulere Local government where he hailed from .
He described all politics as local, noting that political victory begins from successful conduct of wards’ congress.
When quizzed about the multiple congresses held across some zones in the state, Hon. Odebunmi insisted that it was not unexpected and that at the appropriate time all interests group including those with unjust dissent will be invited towards an amiable resolution in a win-win situation.
Odebunmi who is also the chairman Finance and budget Committee for the Congress
charges members of the APC throughout the wards in the 33 local governments across the state to intensify mobilization and deepen grass-roots engagements as the party prepares to return to power in the state in 2023.
