A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress(APC) Alhaji Raheem Adebiyi,has commended President Muhammadu Buhari,over the selection of Sunday Dare as a minister to represent Oyo state at the next-level cabinet.
Raheem made the commendation when he spoke to National insight,at an event on thursday.He said the choice of Sunday Dare,is a clear indication that the President is looking beyond party affiliation,so as to put the right peg in round holes
Remember the last cabinet was marred with intrigues,as some of the ministers were labeled as corrupt,and shouldn’t have been in the cabinet in the first place.
Not only that we all knew what transpired between the former governor of Oyo state,Abiola Ajimobi,and the immediate past minister for communication,Adebayo Shittu.So the President do not want a repeat of that.
For me Buhari has got the right man,that will represent Oyo state at the Federal level.Dare a brilliant Journalist and a dependable ally to the national leader of the (APC)Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The people of Ogbomosho,and Oke-Ogun,should be proud that Sunday Dare,is on the ministerial list of President Muhammad Buhari,and that the region is ready for its big break.
Let me say this,Dare should carry all stakeholders in the politics of Oyo state together,so as to avoid infraction,and marginalisation of any part of the state.
He should hands with the state governor,despite non-party affiliation,so that the state can move forward.
