Amofin Beulah Adeoye Commiserates With Oyo Rep, Adebayo Adepoju on Father’s Demise

Amofin Beulah Adeoye, president of the Beulah Adeoye Foundation has commiserated with the lawmaker representing Ibarapa Central/Ibarapa North federal constituency, Hon. Adebayo Adepoju over demise of his father, Pa Amos Ademola Adepoju.

Amofin Adeoye in his condolences message mourned the passing of distinguished academic, versatile administrator and former Rector of the Polytechnic Ibadan between 1981 and 1988.

Amofin Adeoye said late octogenarian was more than a parent; he described him as a mentor, a leader, and a guiding light to many within and beyond the walls of the academic environment and public service.

The legal icon lauded that tenure of Pa Adepoju as Rector was defined by vision, integrity, and a steadfast devotion to the pursuit of knowledge and excellence which gave birth creation of satellite campuses of Polytechnic Ibadan in Esa-Oke, Saki, Iree and Eruwa are now functioning as fully-fledged tertiary institutions. He stressed that generations of students across tertiary institutions, and community members beyond Igboora benefited from Pa Adepoju’s wisdom, humility, and fatherly guidance.

Amofin Adeoye described former INEC resident electoral commissioner for Nasarawa state as a man who epitomises principles of fairness, transparency and justice who left behind a legacy of credibility and respect in the conduct of elections. He added that late Asiwaju of Igbooraland will be remembered as a man who dedicated his life to the upliftment of education, the empowerment of youth, and the advancement of humanity.

Amofin Adeoye remarked that late Pa Adepoju instilled dedication to public service in the federal lawmaker, Hon. Adepoju which is evident in his performance and scorecard for Ibarapa Central/Ibarapa North federal constituency.

Amofin Adeoye admitted that the physical presence of Pa Adepoju may be gone, but his spirit and contributions will continue to shine as a beacon for all. He prayed may God rest the soul of Pa Adepoju well and comfort the family.
