Former governor of Oyo state, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala today declared that Ogbomoso people will vote massively for All Progressives Congress APC gubernatorial candidate on Saturday.
He was silent about the fate of Action Democratic ADP. House of Assembly candidates during the campaign.
Akala who form coalition with APC last week after the presidential election said this at the Next level campaign of Bayo Adelabu in Ogbomoso.
Addressing the crowd at opening ground of Ogunlola Hall, Akala said his decision to shift ground politically is in the interest of Ogbomoso
‘I am concerned about Ogbomoso development , Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and completion of Oyo-Ogbomoso road, those are my demands and Bayo has assured me that our interest as a town will be protected and all our request will be granted”.
He however urge all residents and indigenes of Ogbomoso and Oyo state to vote for APC on Saturday.
Eaerlier Bayo Adelabu had visited Alao Akala in his Opadoyin lodge Randa Area Ogbomoso before both of them and their supporters visited Soun of Ogbomoso Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade.
APC gubernatorial candidate , Bayo Adelabu while speaking at both Soun Palace and Ogunlola hall where he addressed the party supporters said he will not undermine Ogbomoso in his government.
” With the support of Otunba Alao Akala, in Ogbomoso, the people of Oke -Ogun, Oyo, Ibarapa and Ibadan i am confident that i am the next governor and by the grace of God i will never dissappoint you.
