Many of the aggrieved aspirants in African Democratic Congress, ADC, and All Progressives Congress, APC, are set to join former governor Adebayo Alao Akala in the Action Democratic Party, ADP.
Alao Akala on Sunday emerged as the gubernatorial candidate of the party and some of the aggrieved aspirants have been given ticket for their desired position in ADP.
Though the lists is yet to be made official but a source within the party said many of the state and federal lawmakers have agreed to contest in ADP.
Our source informed that Dr Ahmed Salawudeen aspirant of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Oyo North Senatorial District and some of the APC aspirants in Akala’s camp were given ticket unopposed.
It was also gathered that Otunba Alao Akala has personally been contacting other aspirants to win them to his side.
