Member House Of Representatives, representing Ibadan North-East/South-East federal constituency, Hon. Abass Adigun (Agboworin) has facilitated skill acquisition training and empowerment for over 250 unemployed youths and women in making Throw Pillows, Bed sheets, Duvets and other Home Decorating materials across his federal constituency.
The programme was organised with National Institute For Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) and Jummalo Integrated Link Concepts Ltd, Hon. Abass has continued to display outstanding leadership qualities and sincerity of purpose since he was elected into office in 2019 with the massive empowerment of youth and womens across the federal constituency.
Participants were exposed to how to make throw pillows, Bed Sheets, Duvets, home decorating materials and others, the training will take 3days between 23rd February, 2022 – 25th February, 2022.
This gesture by Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin who is also Vice chairman House Committee on Air force, is part of the federal lawmaker’s quest to help the women become self-reliant, and also improve their economic status in their various communities.
Other coming up programs includes:
– Training of over 350 unemployed youths
and women on the assessment of microfinance banking system (POS).
– Equipping 300 youths in different areas of their specialisation like fashion designing, hairdresser and womens with a grinding machine.
