AD will provide Credible Alternative to Governance in Oyo-Akinropo

Chief Michael Akinropo , the  chairman for Alliance for Democracy  AD, in oyo state has has said the party  will provide a credible alternative to governance in the state.

Akinropo while speaking with journalists in Ibadan, the Oyo  state capital  said past records of achievements shows that no party in government has been able to beat their record.

He maintained that ‘we have been in power before and everybody knows that we performed excellently in all sector, the records and we are going to perform better when we get to power in 2019

The chairman said further that “ Our aspirants for all positions are credible and they have good plans that will enhance development of the state without making life difficult for citizens  .”

While expressing optimism that ad will take over from Senator Abiola Ajimobi led APC government in Oyo state,   the party chieftains said, “We have the structure in place, we are going to field acceptable and responsible candidates and sell our ideas to the people of the state.

Speaking on the price of the nomination form, Akinropo disclosed that the form will not cost much and will be affordable for the aspirants

While debunking the insinuation that there is faction in the party,  Akinropo said “AD is one in oyo state, we are all together and what we are doing here is known to the national exco of the party, we are one and there is no division, no faction.

Akinropo who hinted that the some members of the other party are already approaching them to join said ‘ ad is a good manager, our doors are widely opened to people who are ready  to share our vision and abide by our rules”.

The party secretary,Wale Adebayo  while addressing local government party excos at the state secretariat said AD is a disciplined party and will not tolerate any form of indiscipline from any members.

He also said that the aspirants  who want to obtain forms will pay administrative charges to the state office for upkeep and maintenance of the party secretariat
