The former Delta State Commissioner for Technical Education and wife of
Mr. Peter Mrakpor, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), and a former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice was kidnapped in her Church, located at the Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS) road in Asaba on the 30th of July, 2024
She was a lawmaker for Aniocha South at the state’s House of Assembly between 2007 and 2015 and latee Aniocha/Oshimili Federal constituency at the House of Representatives
While at kidnapper’s den it was rumoured that the 58 years old Evangelist was killed and her body dumped inside river
The abductors had earlier demanded N1billion ransom, but it was not clear if that particular amount of money was paid before she was released or not.
The spokesman of the Delta State Police Command, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the release of Mrakpor, popularly known as ‘Ada Anioma’, late Friday night.
