Ibadan Family Heads Laud Folarin, Ladoja ,Dapo Lam For Supporting Anti Crime Initiative

The Association of Mogaji’s in Ibadanland on Tuesday commended the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Senator Teslim Folarin for donating five new motocycles for Ibadan Compound Peace Initiative.

Recall that the former Senate Leader (Folarin) donated the motocycles which worth over two million naira at it’s last Saturday’s meeting held at Mapo hall, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Local Content during the meeting of the Mogaji’s narrated all his manifesto to the Mogaji’s if emerged as the governor of the state in 2023 governorship election in the state.

In statement jointly signed by the President, Association of Ibadan Mogaji’s, Mogaji Asimiyu Ariori and the Coordinator, Ibadan Compound Peace Initiative, Mogaji Nurudeen Akinade, the Mogaji’s said it’s become necessary to thanked Folarin for his efforts towards curbing insecurity in Ibadanland, saying that their steps was not politically motivated.

“He donated five new motocycles worthy N2m to aide the work of volunteers group in maintaining security in Ibadanland.”

“We also thank the former governor of the state, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, for his efforts including his donation of N1m towards curbing security in the land.

“We thank Dapo Lam Adeshina for donating one motocycle, as part of his efforts towards ensuring peace and security in Ibadanland.

The compound peace initiative, whose aim was to end hooligalism among youths and forestall peace and security in Ibadanland however said that the items donated would assist the volunteers to discharged their duties accordingly.
