As part of its social responsibility and community services,Babcock University Teaching Hospital ,Ibadan Annex has given free medical services to over 300 people in Ibadan.
The teaching hospital provided the medical services ranging from eye check, blood pressure check, cervical screening,Hepatitis,retroviral check,malaria parasite to subsidized surgeries.
The community medical outreach which took place at Aleshinloye Market was to make healthcare facilities accessible to people who cannot afford it in the state.
Speaking at the event, the Administrator of Babcock University Teaching Hospital Annex Ibadan, Mr.Tosin Adeleke , said the programme was a way of giving back to the society.
Adeleke expressed joy at the impressive turnout of people in Ibadan, stressing that about fifteen states have benefitted from the free medical care.
Beneficiaries appreciated Babcock University for making health care accessible to the masses.
Speaking with journalists,a market leader at the Aleshinloye Market, Isiaka Onibode commended the hospital for contributing its quota to societal development
