Afro-Fusion superstar singer Sean Dampte has joined forces with Fifi B on a new single, “Plus One”, marking another musical exploration for the Nigerian-Afrofusion artiste as he incorporates Amapiano influences into his sound.
The collaboration brings together Sean Dampte’s Afro-Fusion approach and Fifi B’s contribution on a record that draws inspiration from the dance-driven South African genre. Its multilingual lyrics also reflect the cross-cultural influences behind the release.
Built around the idea of finding someone who matches one’s energy, “Plus One” explores companionship and shared experiences, with a sound suited to both the dance floor and everyday listening.
For Sean Dampte, also known as Sir Leventis, the release comes as he prepares to close a significant chapter in his musical journey. Much of his activity this year has centred on Awoodah: Sounds of Kalakuta, a project that has helped shape his creative direction in 2026.
The singer is now preparing to bring that era to a close with The Final Chapter, scheduled for release on 20 November 2026. The project is expected to mark the conclusion of the Awoodah: Sounds of Kalakuta journey.
Beyond the forthcoming release, Sean Dampte is already looking towards his next major project, Sir Leventis: King Charles of Lagos, an album expected in 2027.
The upcoming album signals the beginning of another phase for the artiste, following his work on the Awoodah: Sounds of Kalakuta project. Meanwhile, “Plus One” offers an indication of his willingness to explore different musical influences and collaborations as he continues to develop his sound
