The President of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Oyo State Chapter, Comrade Ayobami Adeogun, has been inducted as a Full Member of the Institute of Leadership, Coaching and Strategy (ILCS).

Adeogun announced the milestone following his induction ceremony held on Friday, June 26, 2026, describing it as another significant step in his lifelong commitment to purposeful leadership, continuous learning, strategic thinking and selfless service to humanity.

Expressing gratitude to God for the achievement, the labour leader thanked the President and Chairman of the Governing Board of the Institute, Dr. Olasunkade Azeez, FILCS, for the honour and confidence reposed in him.
He also appreciated the leadership and members of the Institute for the warm reception and memorable induction ceremony.
According to Adeogun, one of the highlights of the event was listening to former Minister of Industry, Chief (Mrs.) Onikepo Akande, and veteran journalist and public affairs analyst, Dr. Reuben Abati, whose presentations made the occasion even more memorable.
“What a privilege I have to be in the room as an inductee. Listening to Olori Onikepo Akande and the erudite Dr. Reuben Abati was icing on the cake. A never-to-be-forgotten memory today,” he said.
Adeogun expressed optimism about the future of the Institute, praying for its continued growth and impact.
He further extended appreciation to his family, friends, colleagues and associates for their unwavering support, prayers and encouragement throughout his journey.
The NULGE president said the recognition would further strengthen his resolve to contribute meaningfully to leadership development, public service and nation-building.
