At the well-attended gathering, Bashorun Akinwole charged members of the youth group to intensify grassroots mobilization efforts and work diligently towards securing victory for all APM candidates contesting elective positions.
The group formally endorsed Governor Seyi Makinde for President, Hon. Bimbo Adekambi for Governor of Oyo State, Hon. Shina Abiola Peller for Oyo North Senatorial District, Hon. “Our leader has consistently demonstrated commitment to the development of our people. Wherever he goes, we follow,” a representative of the group stated.
Political observers believe the endorsement further strengthens the APM’s grassroots presence across Ogbomoso Zone, where the Wolekanle Youth Vanguard is regarded as a formidable political force with significant influence among young voters.
The group also expressed confidence in the electoral prospects of the party and pledged to work tirelessly to ensure victory for all its endorsed candidates at the polls.
The endorsement comes as political activities continue to gather momentum across Oyo State ahead of the next electoral cycle.
