All is Set for the maiden editon of Ijesha Grand Marathon and Carnival.
The event which is scheduled to hold on 3rd of Aprill is sponsored by BELTIJ Ltd a gold mining and furniture company operating in Ilesha.
Mr Tijani Remilekun Usman, The Chief Executive Officer of company in a chat with National Insight said the event tagged “Re-awakening the Giant” is to put Ijesha into world map in the world of sport and entertainment and promote unity among the youths.
Usman said about 2000 athletes have registered for the marathon race which holds in the morning while the carnival commences at 2 Pm.
“This is part BELTIJ Community Social Responsibility CSR, and commitment as an indigene, I believe in giving back to the society and making people happy”
Prominent Nigeria Fuji and Hip Hop Artists and upcoming stars from Ilesha and Osun state will perform during the carnival which will hold at Ilesha Stadium.
Listed among the artist includes, Taiye Currency, 9ice, Qdot. Tayo Faniran, Papayana and others while Manganese and MC Flexmore will make people laugh with comedy.
