29 Kidnapped Afaka Kaduna Students Released

29 students of  Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka in Kaduna State left in the custody of kidnappers have regained freedom.

Some students of the institution were abducted on  March 11, 2021

It was gathered that they were released after ransom was paid while another source disclosed that  the release was facilitated by the Sheikh Abubakar Gumi dialogue committee with support from former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

They were released some minutes past 4pm around the Kidanda area in Giwa Local Government Area of the state, and were on their way back to the state capital.

Mr Abdullahi Usman, who is the Chairman of the Parents’ Committee, confirmed the release of the students by bandits to Channels Television on Wednesday in Kaduna
