The apex Yoruba youth group, Yoruba Youth Council has congratulated Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun on the occasion of his 54th birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message signed by the acting chairman of YYC in Oyo state, Akande Akin Sanyaolu and made available to journalists in Ibadan through its deputy director of publicity and media, Olawale Ajao stated that the contributions of Dr Olatunbosun to the development of ibadanland and by extension oyo state cannot be over emphasised.
The statement attributed the recent appointment of Dr Olatunbosun by President Mohammadu Buhari ” as a testimony of his loyalty to his party and committed service to Oyo state and Nigeria as a whole”.
Yoruba youth council described Dr Olatunbosun as lover of youths who has greatly impacted positively on the lives of many youths in Oyo state.
“His tenure at Ibadan north west local government from August 2011 to May 2016 can best be described as golden and has set an enviable records which may be difficult to matched by subsequent chairmen of the council.”
“Also, his role during the second term campaign of his boss, Governor Abiola Ajimobi as chairman, contact and mobilization committee remains a reference point in the political history of the state”.
It will be recalled that Dr Olatunbosun also oversee Ajumose Coalition Movement (ACM) , a movement that consists of over 200 groups and associations and which played a significant role in the eventual emergence of Governor Ajimobi as the first second term Governor in the history of Oyo state
The Yoruba Youth Council ” wishes Dr Olatunbosun many happy returns in good heath and successful tenure as he takes on new national assignment”, the statement added.
