The contributions of workers cannot be overemphasized in the development of any society. Indeed, no nation or government can progress without the cooperation of its patriotic workforce.
Mogaji Joseph Tegbe said this in a statement to felicitate with workers on 2023 workers day celebration.
The Peoples Democratic Party Chieftain in Oyo stats said the Nigerian workers are indeed worthy of celebration.
“From the civil servants who keep the wheel of government rolling, the private sector workers who work round to provide services the the population, the informal sector workers who dare the odds to earn a living while contributing to our nation, our soldiers who risk their lives to ensure we are safe, our medical workers who sacrifice their comfort to ensure we stay alive and healthy, our pressmen who are faithful to their calling as the conscience of the nation, the teachers who heeded the call the build the future generations, the Nigerian workers are indeed the thread that keeps the Nigerian clothing together”
I salute and congratulate the Oyo state workers especially, for their contributions to the re-election of Engr Seyi Makinde, a Governor who has shown exceptional commitment to the welfare of civil servants, pensioners and the entire downtrodden in the state. May Oyo workers continue to progress under OmiTitun 2.0.
“Kudos to the working class who have kept faith in nation building especially the vast majority who are overworked and underpaid. May our labours not be in vain”
