Wolekanle Urges Christians to Embrace Christmas Virtues for State Development

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Bashorun Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, has called on Christians across the country to embody the virtues of Christmas to foster growth and development in the state.

In his special Christmas message, Wolekanle highlighted that the season symbolises love, peace, and unity—values he described as essential for the progress of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.

“As our Christian brothers and sisters celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, I extend my warmest wishes for a joyous and peaceful celebration,” Wolekanle stated. “This season reminds us of the importance of compassion, generosity, and peaceful coexistence.”

While urging residents of Oyo state to Pray for Governor Seyi Makinde and its aides, the PDP Chieftain also encouraged all citizens to use the festive period for reflection and to renew their commitment to the state’s progress, urging unity and mutual support to achieve shared goals.
