The Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole popularly known as Wolekanle has congratulated Dr. Saka Balogun on his approval as the new Balogun of Ogbomosoland.
In a statement issued on Monday, Bashorun Akinwole described the appointment as well-deserved, noting Dr. Balogun’s longstanding contributions to the political and traditional development of Ogbomoso and Oyo State.
Dr. Saka Balogun, a prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, was recently approved by the state government to occupy the revered Balogun stool following the demise of his predecessor, Alhaji Shittu Fasina.
Wolekanle expressed confidence that Dr. Balogun will bring his wealth of experience and deep-rooted connection with the community to bear in promoting peace, progress, and cultural preservation in Ogbomosoland
