A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole better known as Wolekanle, has congratulated Christians across the state and Nigeria on the celebration of Easter, urging them to reflect on the values of love, sacrifice, and renewal associated with the season.

In a statement issued on Easter Sunday, Wolekanle said the resurrection of Jesus Christ symbolizes hope for a better tomorrow, and called on Christians to embrace peace and unity in their communities. He noted that Nigeria needs more than ever the spirit of togetherness to overcome its challenges.

Wolekanle also urged Christians to remember Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, in their prayers, especially as he continues to steer the affairs of the state. He emphasized the importance of divine guidance and wisdom for leaders to deliver on their mandates.
