We ‘ll Defeat APC In 2019- Oyo PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party Oyo state Chapter has assured the people of the state that the party is ready and prepared to rescue the state from eight years misrule of the APC in the state.

This was contained in a communiqué issue after the Inaugural expanded meeting of Oyo state PDP after official inauguration in Abuja days back.

 

The meeting was Chaired by the Oyo South Senatorial Chairman, Sir Samuel Adigun Olawuwo who informed the party executive that the state Chairman is unavoidably absent due to his attendance of National Caucus meeting of the party which invitation came last weekend after the state meeting had already being scheduled.

The Secretary of the party, Hon Wasiu Adeleke read the resolutions of the meeting which had in attendance 30 local government Chairmen out of 33 and 18 state Exco members out of 27.

 

The Communiqué thank the party leaders across the state for their efforts in uniting the party . The communiqué informed members of the public that PDP is ready and prepared to rescue the state from 8years of misrule.

 

The Local government Exco in 33 local government areas of the state will be officially inaugurated by the state Exco very soon.

The Secretary disclosed that several political parties and prominent individuals are holding strategic meetings on their readiness to join PDP and work for the victory of the party in 2019 general elections.

He also assured members of the Exco and local government chairmen to remain calm and discharge their duties according to the dictate of the party constitution and lawful decisions of National working Committee of the party.

The communique signed by the Honourable Secretary, Hon Wasiu Adeleke thanked members of the public that the current Exco as inaugurated by appropriate party officials in Abuja and beamed to the public through mass media remain authentic Exco and advised others to join the team because together we are stronger.
