There is no Crisis in ADC
A chieftain of African Democratic Congress ADC in Oyo state Engineer Akeem Olatunji has said there is no crisis in the party .
Olatunji in a telephone interview with our reporter today said what appears to be issue over the party congress will be resolved very soon.
The Unity forum a breakway faction of the APC threatened to quit the party if the result illegal congress and imposition of party executives by the Ladoja group is not reversed
They are currently meeting with Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on the matter today and the outcome of the meeting would determine the next line of action.
Akeem said ‘ There was no parallel congress of the party anywhere, we only have aggrieved members of the party which is normal and what they want is some adjustment on the executive list which we will look into and do the necessary things to make peace reign in the party.
” We are going to look at the whole thing and adjust where necessary, anyone that is affected from our camp will tender resignation letter for peace to reign, we want peace , we want unity , our essence of coming together is to dislodge the incumbent APC from the government and it can only be possible if we are together”
“ADC is not like PDP where money is everything, once the National headquarter sees money in Abuja anything goes they don’t mind the effect on the party”.
