The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the temporary shutdown of its result checker portal, waecdirect.org, citing technical difficulties.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Council informed the general public and concerned candidates that efforts are currently underway to resolve the issues affecting the platform.
“WAEC hereby informs the general public that the result checker portal @waecdirect.org is temporarily shut down due to technical issues. However, the Council is working assiduously to ensure that candidates are able to access their results in the next 24 hours,” the statement read.
The Council appealed for patience and understanding from the public as technical teams work to restore access to the portal.
