US Mission Mourns Lai Oso

The United State Mission in Nigeria has mourned the passage of Professor Lai Oso

Oso a media scholar and lecturer at Lagos stage University died in auto crash on Saturday evening.

The United State mission in a post on their social media handle wrote ” We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Professor Lai Oso, one of Nigeria’s most respected journalism teachers”

” Over the past years, Professor Oso partnered with the U.S. Consulate on a variety of initiatives that built the capacity of journalists and encouraged the local media to promote democracy, good governance, transparency, and accountability.
