UI Elects Two Female DVCs

Two female academics including Prof. Aderonke Baiyeroju, and Prof Oluyemisi Bamgbose and their male counterpart  Professor Ezekiel Ayoola have emerged Deputy Vice Chancellors of the University of Ibadan.

This is the first time in the history of UI where we have two female DVCs at

According to the Election results which was held today Prof. Ezekiel. Olusola. Ayoola of the Department of Mathematics,Faculty of Science emmerged as DVC Admni with 453- votes while professor K. O. Oluwasemire,
Department of Soil Resources Management and Faculty of Agriculture scored 73.

Also Prof. Aderonke M. Baiyeroju,
Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine emerges the DVC academics with 300 votes to defeat Prof. D. A. Adeyemo Department of Counselling and Human Development Studies, Faculty of Education who scored 200 votes

The new DVC for Research, Innovation & Strategic Partnerships is Prof. Oluyemisi A. Bamgbose, Department of Public Law, Faculty of Law who scored 448 to defeat Prof. O. G. Arinola,
Department of Immunology, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Medicine with 112 Arinola votes.
