Prof. Otegbayo pointed out though the funds available are meagre, they will be utilized judiciously and that the first phase of the project will be completed in 12 weeks.

He charged both the project consultants and the contractor to do do the job according to specification because the management of the hospital will frown at any shoddy job done on the site.

The Oyo State NYSC Coordinator, Mrs. Grace Ogbugebe thanked the Federal Ministry of Health, the CMD and the management of UCH for taking the effort to build the medical centre.

Mrs. Ogbugebe noted that she will be monitoring the project to ensure that it is built according to specification.
She also said that with the construction, the present clinic at the camp will be used as hostel to accommodate more corps members posted to Oyo State for the mandatory one year national service.
